Stacy is a project manager at AERE. She has experience managing the development and launch of new products in biotechnology and coordinating large teams with diverse backgrounds. She transitioned into project management while working as an experimental scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, a Fortune 500 company. There she led R&D projects developing new commercial products for research using liver cells and tissue and was an integral team member in developing media and cell therapy systems for cardiomyocytes and definitive endoderm. Stacy also worked at the National Institutes of Health as an experimental researcher focusing on sickle cell disease.
Stacy also has had experience in the credentialing profession working as a contractor for International Credentialing Associates where she performed various research activities.
Before tackling the scientific field, Stacy was a professional musician. She performed as a singer and pianist with orchestras, choruses, and trios. She competed internationally as a pianist and taught piano to people of all ages. A major highlight of her musical career was performing in a masterclass with award-winning, renowned pianist Andre Watts.
Stacy attended George Mason University to obtain her M.S. in Applied and Engineering Physics. She also holds a B.S. in Physics from Drexel University and a B.M. in Piano Pedagogy from Temple University.
